Achievements of
The Global Mother Divine Organization
(1 August 2008) In a series of
presentations on the Maharishi Global Family Chat during the recent
Global Guru Purnima Assembly in MERU, Netherlands, leaders of the Global
Mother Divine Organization, the ladies' wing of the Global Country of
World Peace, reported worldwide achievements of the past year which are
bringing perfect health, happiness, and enlightenment to ladies,
mothers, and children.
The Global Mother Divine Organization offers every lady the knowledge
and practical techniques to gain inner happiness, perfect health, and
success in every area of life. Through these simple and effective
programmes the ladies of the world have the opportunity to create
harmony, prosperity, and everlasting peace in the family of nations.
The goal of the Global Mother Divine Organization is to develop the
all-nourishing quality in every lady—every mother in our world family—to
create healthy, happy, heavenly homes in every country. To achieve this,
the Global Mother Divine Organization is being established in 192
countries of the world to offer programmes through its Foundations in
five areas of knowledge: Development of Consciousness and Total
Knowledge Based Education, Health Care, Culture, and Music.
On 2 December 2007, in a historic global celebration broadcast live via
satellite and the Internet on the Maharishi Channel, the First
International Congress of the Global Mother Divine Organization was
inaugurated at Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA. This ten-day Congress
resulted in thousands of ladies worldwide becoming inspired to quickly
realize the goals of the Global Mother Divine Organization.
The International Global Mother Divine Organization was legally
established on 11 April 2008 at MERU in Vlodrop, the Netherlands.

India
February 2008 marked the completion of the Ladies Peace Palace in
Karimnagar, Andhra Pradesh, serving as the home for members of the
Mother Divine* Programme, and for teaching activities of
Consciousness-Based Education programmes.
In March 2008, the Global Mother Divine Organization for Gujarat was
inaugurated by the Regional Director of the organization in India and an
international delegation of members of the Mother Divine Programme, as
well as thirty Indian lady Yogic Flyers. The conference participants
selected leadership for the five foundations. A school for girls is
being built in Gujarat, offering Consciousness-Based Education.
Directors of the Global Mother Divine Organization in Calcutta, West
Bengal are making presentations to ladies' business groups and schools,
and plan to open a Maharishi Gandharva Veda music hall. Maharishi
Gandharva Veda music creates an influence of health and harmony in
society.
USA
On 24 April 2008, the Ladies' Peace Palace was inaugurated on the campus
of Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, serving
as the home for the activities of the Global Mother Divine Organization
for lady students and all ladies throughout the community.
The Global Mother Divine Organization in the United States was legally
established on 8 May 2008, the auspicious Day of Lasting Achievements in
the Vedic Calendar. Sixty members serve on the boards of the five
foundations.
The first Global Mother Divine Organization conference in America was
held in Fairfield, Iowa, as part of the global Guru Purnima Celebration.
The four-day conference was attended by 450 ladies.
A Maharishi Ayur-Veda health education institute is being developed for
lady health care professionals. Certification, degree, and continuing
education programmes will be offered, and a medical college is planned.
A successful Maharishi Ayur-Veda programme for mothers and babies is
being enhanced and re-introduced.
The first Maharishi Ayur-Veda health spa for ladies is opening in Boone,
North Carolina.

The Foundation for Music is organizing a Maharishi
Gandharva Veda concert tour with Anita Roy, renowned classical Indian
and Gandharva Veda vocalist.
A director of the Foundation for Education, who is successfully
implementing a Consciousness-Based Education programme in a tough
inner-city school in Hartford, Connecticut, recently organized an
all-girls field trip for the students. The girls enjoyed the opportunity
to be together so much that they formed the 'Butterfly Club', saying
they 'felt protected and through the Transcendental Meditation Technique
we come out of our cocoons like butterflies'.
A video is being produced featuring girls and lady celebrities who
practise Transcendental Meditation, which will be used to expand the
audience for Girls' Invincibility Schools, the first of which will open
in late 2009.
Maharishi University of Enlightenment, licensed in the USA, is the first
ladies' university in the world to offer bachelors, masters, and
doctoral degree programs in Maharishi Vedic Science, the science of
consciousness.
Building a permanent home for the North American participants of the
Mother Divine Programme, the largest group of Mother Divine participants
in the world, has been set as a priority. Plans include guest facilities
for ladies who wish to attend special courses.
Canada
The Global Mother Divine Organization was officially established in
Canada in May 2008.
Through the Foundation for Total Knowledge Based Education,
Consciousness-Based Education Programmes are being established in
British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec.
An influential member of the indigenous Mohawk Tribe, who serves on the
board of the Foundation for Total Knowledge Based Culture, is
coordinating meetings with the Global Mother Divine Organization and
native tribal leaders, including special focus on her expertise in
environmental issues.
The Netherlands
The Global Mother Divine Organization in the Netherlands was established
in April 2008 during a special ladies' weekend conference.
Four educational organizations for ladies are legally established in the
country, including the girls' Invincibility School in Vlodrop, and the
Maharishi Primary School in Lelystad, which has been in operation for
twenty-five years.
The Maharishi Ayur Veda Health Centre has been in operation in Lelystad
for over twenty years, including treatments for ladies, and the
Mother/Baby Programme. Maharishi Ayur-Veda is also offered through the
Maharishi Health Spa.
Also in Lelystad, members of the Global Mother Divine Organization
living in the Ideal Sidha Village enjoy monthly ladies Full Moon
celebrations.
Three ladies from the Netherlands are currently being trained as
teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Technique.

Germany
The Global Mother Divine Organization in Germany announced the
completion of an Ideal Girls School in Erfurt, which is in the Brahma-Sthan
(geographical centre) area of Germany. The school, currently operating
in temporary facilities, hosted an open-house for 3,000 visitors. An
attending school principal will begin implementing Consciousness-Based
Education in her school.
Anita Roy, world-renowned Indian vocalist, will perform a Maharishi
Gandharva Veda music concert this September.
Maharishi Ayur-Veda health products are available in the Maharishi Ayur-Veda
shop in Hannover, and in twenty shops through a partnership with a
German bakery.
The Foundation for Development of Consciousness will conduct refresher
courses of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, instruction in
Advanced Techniques of the Transcendental Meditation Programme, and
Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology consultations this year.
Inspired by conference calls with the Global Mother Divine Organization
last June, four German ladies are now attending training to become
Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme.
Global Good News will feature Part III of this series with reports from
the Global Mother Divine Organization in Russia, Kazakhstan, and
Lebanon.
Russia
Experts in Maharishi's Vedic Science from India visited Russia last
year, providing instruction in Advanced Techniques of the Transcendental
Meditation Programme, and Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology.
A World Peace Assembly and Teacher Training Course for the
Transcendental Meditation Technique will be held next year in south
Russia. Instruction in the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme
will be available next year in three cities.
A Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Clinic will soon be operating in Russia.
Kazakhstan
In June 2008, the Global Mother Divine Organization held a conference
call with ladies in three Kazakh towns. Conference participants included
seven Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme and four
practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme. Inspired
by the call and the great need to enliven the nourishing qualities of
Mother Divine* in their homeland, the ladies appointed directors for the
five Foundations. The director of the Global Mother Divine Organization
in Kazakhstan, a university professor, is participating in an
educational conference at MERU, the Netherlands.

Lebanon
The wife of the National Director of the Global Country of World Peace
for Lebanon is coordinating the Global Mother Divine Organization in
Lebanon and other Arab nations.
Several Ladies Invincibility Courses and knowledge evenings have been
held during the past year. Activities include presentations to 35
members of an international ladies organization. A ladies World Peace
Assembly will be held later this year, with a goal of developing the
Mother Divine Programme** for the Arab nations.
Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Programmes will be presented to more than 100
ladies attending a health charity event, and at a prestigious resort
this summer.
Presentations to heads of orphanages and schools about
Consciousness-Based Education will begin this year.
A series of Maharishi Gandharva Veda concerts will be performed in
Lebanon this October, creating an influence of peace and happiness in
the nation.
Ethiopia
As the presentations from African nations continued, the National
Director for Ethiopia reported on the Transcendental Meditation Club
established in a school in Addis Ababa and land that is available for a
Maharishi Invincibility School.
The National Director, who has also been the National Leader of all of
the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Ethiopia since 1973, reported
that at that time a Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course
was held in Ethiopia for about 100 course participants from the USA.
Maharishi also visited Ethiopia and met with Emperor Haile Selassie.
There are now three Transcendental Meditation Teachers; and 250
Ethiopian students have attended or are still attending Maharishi
University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.
A letter was presented to the Minister of Education, organized by the
Raj Rajeshwari for Invincible Ethiopia; the Ministry of Education
proposed that they create a Transcendental Meditation Club where
students can practise Transcendental Meditation in their own schools.
Given this opportunity, 40 students have received instruction in the
technique in two campuses of private secondary schools. Slides were
shown of the students meditating.
The goal is to teach all 250
students and also inspire them to learn the Transcendental Meditation
Sidhi Programme and become Yogic Flyers, which would achieve the number
required to create coherence for Addis Ababa, the capital city. Lady
ministers in the government have also been contacted by the Global
Mother Divine Organization; one of the state ministers asked for more
information and plans to arrange a lecture for her colleagues.
Six hectares of land in a very prestigious area of the outskirts of
Addis Ababa have been granted by the government, and the organization is
planning a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility, a Maharishi School, and a
Maharishi Ayur-Veda clinic. On behalf of the 80 million people of
Ethiopia, the National Director thanked the Raj Rajeshwaris for their
nourishing attention to create invincibility for Ethiopia.

Thailand
The National Director of the Global Mother Divine Organization for
Thailand reported about a Maharishi Ayur Veda Health Spa and a Ladies
Invincibility Course with 20 course participants.
The National Director reported that they are in the process of legally
establishing the Global Mother Divine Organization in Thailand along
with the national management board, the five Foundations, and
corresponding advisory councils. The plans for Thailand include creating
a large group of the Mother Divine Programme, expanding by at least 100
participants per year, reaching 500 within five years.
They plan to hold a Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course
for ladies, and to inspire ladies all over Thailand to come to courses
at the abode of the Mother Divine Programme, to enjoy
Consciousness-Based Education while gaining a degree in Maharishi's
Vedic Science.
A Maharishi Ayur Veda Health Spa has been operating since October 2007
for ladies; they have been very happy with the treatments and the
beautiful facilities. Showing slides with her talk, the National
Director said that a Ladies Invincibility Course with 20 course
participants was held from 13 March to 20 April.
On 7 June a lecture was given for 35 ladies at a hotel in Bangkok; 15
ladies applied to learn Transcendental Meditation. One school outside
Bangkok will be holding a course for 1,400 high school girls.
Daughters of two leading officials in Thailand and Laos have learnt
Transcendental Meditation and would like to join the Thai Teacher
Training Course.
Japan
The National Director for the Global Mother Divine Organization in Japan
was very happy to be representing all the dear mothers and ladies of
Japan. They started their ladies' organization in Japan on Guru Purnima,
18 July 2008, and have selected their National Advisory Board and the
Boards for the five Foundations. These five board members formed the
Global Mother Divine Organization National Management Board of Japan.
They will also establish a group of the Mother Divine Programme** in a
beautiful place in Japan. The National Director thanked the Raj
Rajeshwari for Japan for always guiding them to enjoy the grace of Guru
Dev*** and Maharishi's blessings.
China and Hong Kong
A member of the Mother Divine Programme from Hong Kong gave a report for
Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan.

She said that activities have
been growing steadily and blissfully in the last few months. The first
Global Mother Divine Organization Asian conference call was held with
the Raj Rajeshwaris on 3 May for all the ladies of Asia. This generated
a lot of interest and especially support for a Maharishi Ayur-Veda
Health Spa. The Director of the Foundation of Total Knowledge-Based
Health Care is working with a university team from Hong Kong to set up
this Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Spa for providing the knowledge of
Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health. The team enjoys working with the
Global Mother Divine Organization because of the authenticity and
effectiveness of their programmes. They are organizing for the team to
visit The Raj (award-winning Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Spa) in
Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA.
The Hong Kong Director of the Global Mother Divine Organization, and her
great supporters have located four hotels with east and north entrances
(important aspects of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, Vedic Architecture in
accord with Natural Law), for the Maharishi Ayur Veda clinics. An
Invincibility Assembly for all the ladies of the region begins in
August. Slides were shown of the ladies' organization of Hong Kong.
Taiwan
Taiwan also has a strong, dynamic group of ladies who are currently
working on establishing the organization for the 221.5 million people of
Taiwan. They are enjoying group Yogic Flying on a regular basis. The
National Director offered gratitude to Guru Dev and Maharishi on behalf
of all the Chinese mothers in our world.
Israel
The National Co-Director of the Global Mother Divine Organization for
Israel reported that they are now in the process of legally establishing
the organization for Israel. They already have the principal members for
the five Foundations.
Many ladies attended the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme
refresher courses. One school has started to implement the
Transcendental Meditation Progamme, with 16 teachers who learnt,
including several who have been radiating silence and coherence for the
school. Another lady is participating in the current Transcendental
Meditation Teacher Training Course in Bulgaria.
Czech Republic & Slovakia:
A representative reported on behalf of the National Coordinators for the
Global Mother Divine Organization for the Czech Republic, and for
Slovakia.
A growing number of lady managers and top ladies in wach country are
learning Transcendental Meditation. They plan to establish a Mother
Divine** Programme group in both countries, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The long-term plan is to fully establish Maharishi Ayur Veda Products in
Czech Republic; they are working on a college, a branch of Maharishi
University of Management, which will have programmes for ladies. They
are working closely with the Czech and European requirements and
policies. |

United Arab Emirates
The National Director of the Global Mother Divine
Organization for the United Arab Emirates and one member of the Board
for Health and Education both attended the Guru Purnima Celebrations in
MERU.
The Global Mother Divine Organization recently sent information about
its programmes to leaders of the seven Emirates, as well as to prominent
ladies in the government. The National Director reported that ladies
from countries such as Lebanon are helping with the five Foundations.
There are plans to open Maharishi Ayur Veda Health Spas in Dubai, Abu
Dhabi, and Al Ain, and there is a proposed project for building
Maharishi Hospitals, one for ladies and one for men, in the beautiful
desert just outside Dubai.
They have been approached by two colleges about the implementation of
Consciousness-Based Education programmes. Two local schools have been
contacted as well as other schools in the Gulf region, who are very
enthusiastic about the programme.
They were approached by the Women's Committee of a local governmental
agency who are interested in a Transcendental Meditation course for
their lady staff. In the past six months, 40 ladies have learned from 20
different nationalities, including a successful corporate development
programme at a very prestigious dental clinic that included 16 lady
dental assistants from the Philippines.
They are planning a one-day Global Mother Divine Organization course in
September and are very enthusiastic for their 'very young' but very
coherent organization in the United Arab Emirates 'to grow in all bliss
and knowledge,' the National Director said.
