Global Country of
World Peace
is the model of ideal administration

Provides knowledge of total
Natural Law to promote
prevention-oriented, problem-free administration
“Our knowledge is
for everyone who wants
to stop suffering—and enjoy life in affluence”
(February 3, 2004) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi presented his
Global Country of World Peace as the practical model of ideal
administration and announced that Vedic knowledge—the supreme science
and technology of total Natural Law—is now available to create coherent
world consciousness and a healthy, wealthy, and wise family of nations.
“Our
approach to successful administration is as simple as lighting a lamp to
eliminate darkness,” Maharishi said. “Our approach is based on
prevention—on educating people to rise to higher states of consciousness
so their every thought and action will be supported by the evolutionary
power of total Natural Law. Then every individual will enjoy
mistake-free life and every nation will enjoy prevention-oriented,
problem-free administration.”
Maharishi’s proclamation came during his global news conference on
Wednesday, January 28, which was broadcast live via satellite and
Internet webcast from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace
in Meru, Holland.
The Global Country of
World Peace
The
Global Country of World Peace was founded on October 7, 2000, to create
permanent world peace through the knowledge and application of total
Natural Law, which administers the universe with perfect order. Under
the parental leadership of His
Majesty Raja Raam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, the
Global Country of World Peace is
bringing enlightenment to every individual, invincibility to every
nation, and peace to the world through:
|

|
• Establishing Peace
Governments with large peace-creating groups
in 108 countries to enliven total Natural Law and promote
coherent national consciousness—the basis of national invincibility
• Building 3,000 Peace
Palaces—Capitals of the Global Country of World Peace—in the world’s
largest 3,000 cities
to offer the knowledge of total Natural Law to raise the whole
population to higher states of consciousness
“No government should have the right to punish its
people”
Maharishi said the need for administration through total Natural Law is
urgent in today’s problem-ridden world, and he had strong words for
governments that use punishment against their own citizens who commit a
crime. “No government should have the right to punish its people,”
Maharishi said. “Education is the responsibility of government and if
the people have not been educated to behave properly, then that is the
failure of government.”
Administration through education
Maharishi said that the solution is “administration through
education”—education that develops the full potential of all people of
all cultures, religions, and nationalities. “Educators today do not know
the potential of the human mind, intellect, and ego,” Maharishi said.
“That is why the Global Country of World Peace is establishing in every
country Vedic Universities to give to the people the knowledge and
experience of their own infinitely expanded Self—Atma—the field
of total Natural Law within. Then people will know how to handle
themselves so that they won’t create problems for themselves or for
others.” |
 |
Maharishi added that if a government continues to
punish its people, it should either change its ways
or else be replaced. “Bring in the Peace
Government, which is in the hands of noble, enlightened
people—scientists, doctors, lawyers who are expert in the administration
of total Natural Law—who know how to rule without punishment,” Maharishi
said.
“Everyone has to make a choice”
Maharishi concluded by
declaring that every individual and every government now has to make a
choice. “The knowledge of total Natural Law—the light of God—is
available to create a peaceful world. So everyone has a choice: Either
take the knowledge and begin to enjoy life in peace and abundance—or
leave it and continue in destruction and suffering. There is no other
choice,” Maharishi said. |

Maharishi offers heads of state
formula
to fulfill parental role of government
Groups of Vedic pandits and Vedic
education in the schools
will prevent problems in the nation
“When it is simple to live in the
light,
why suffer in darkness?”
(February 9, 2004)
His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi offered to all heads of
state a simple, scientifically proven formula to fulfill their parental
role in the nation by preventing problems and bringing affluence and
peace to the people through the knowledge of total Natural Law.
Maharishi called
for governments to establish in their countries large groups of
peace-creating Vedic pandits to enliven total Natural Law—which
administers the universe with perfect order—to prevent negativity from
arising in the nation. Maharishi also called for Vedic education to be
offered in every school, college, and university. Such education,
Maharishi said, will enliven the infinite creative potential of total
Natural Law—the Unified Field—within the Self of every student for a
life free from mistakes and problems.
Maharishi’s offer
came during his global news conference on Wednesday, February 4, which
was broadcast live via satellite and Internet webcast from the Capital
of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland.

“What more can I do for my people?”
“Government always has a parental role in the
nation—to give people what they need to enjoy life,” Maharishi said. “In
his quiet moments, every head of state thinks, ‘What more can I do for
my people?’ No head of state wants his people to suffer or face
punishment. He is like the parent who provides warm clothes for his
children before winter arrives or turns on the light before darkness
sets in. Every head of state can now fulfill his parental role for the
nation by creating prevention-oriented, problem-free administration
through the knowledge of total Natural Law.”
Vedic performances to neutralize
negative influences coming to a nation
Maharishi said a
nation’s destiny is shaped by the past actions of the people. And that
is why, Maharishi said, governments should engage groups of Vedic
pandits. “Through Vedic performances, such as Grahashanti and
Yagyas, the Vedic pandits will neutralize the negative influences
coming back to a nation from the past wrong actions of the people. Then
the government will not have to encounter problems anywhere in the
nation,” Maharishi said.
Vedic pandits must be paid properly
Maharishi
emphasized that the Vedic pandits must be paid properly so they are able
to maintain their daily routine and perform Grahashanti and
Yagyas without the concern of earning money. “Then they will be
effective in creating a positive influence in society,” Maharishi said.
Maharishi also
announced that a group of Vedic pandits is now being established in
India. “It won’t be long before every government engages groups of Vedic
pandits to prevent any wrong from coming to their nations,” Maharishi
added.

Administration through education
In response to a reporter’s question, Maharishi
said that his Global Country of World Peace—and its affiliated Peace
Governments in 108 countries—have been established to serve as an
example of prevention-oriented, problem-free administration for the
world. (For more information, please visit
www.globalcountry.org.)
Maharishi said that administration will be through education—education
that develops higher states of consciousness by awakening the infinite
creativity of the Self in the life of every student. “Then their
thinking and behavior will be supported by the evolutionary power of
total Natural Law, and no one will create problems for himself or for
others,” Maharishi said.
“No one in our dear world family
should ever suffer”
Maharishi concluded by emphasizing that his
message of “administration of total Natural Law” is the same message
that has been proclaimed generation after generation. And the intention
is the same as well—that no one in the world should suffer. “Now the
knowledge and procedures are available for everyone of every age and
every language and every religion in every country to enjoy life in
affluence and peace,” Maharishi said. “So we are fondly offering this
knowledge to all governments because we feel that the world is our
family—and when it is simple to live in light, then why should anyone
suffer in darkness?” |

Proper orientation of government buildings
is the secret to successful administration
“Vedic architecture will promote thinking
and behavior in accord with Natural Law
to prevent chaos, conflict, and failure”
(February
16, 2004) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi revealed to
heads of state a “great secret” of successful administration: Government
buildings should be properly designed and oriented to the east according
to Vedic architecture in harmony with Natural Law. Such buildings,
Maharishi said, will promote in every government leader thinking and
behavior in accord with Natural Law to prevent the chaos, conflict, and
failure of administration in every country.
Maharishi’s announcement
came during his global news conference on Wednesday, February 11, which
was broadcast live via satellite and Internet webcast from the Capital
of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland.
Sthapatya Veda connects the individual with his cosmic potential
Maharishi defined Vedic
architecture—Sthapatya Veda—as a great science of life and one of
40 approaches of Vedic science to promote life in accord with total
Natural Law—the Unified Field—which administers the universe with
perfect order. “Sthapatya Veda provides the knowledge to connect the
individual with his cosmic potential,” Maharishi said.

 |
Orientation has a profound influence on life
Maharishi cited the health
problems associated with modern architectural design and construction—
“sick building syndrome”—and explained that the orientation of a
building has a profound influence on the thinking and behavior of the
occupants. Maharishi said there are simple rules of Sthapatya Veda that
must be followed to ensure a happy, healthy life, including the
direction of the entrance of a building, the slope of the land, the
location of water on the land, etc.
“If these rules are not
followed, the thinking of the people will not be in accord with the
evolutionary direction of Natural Law—and they will create problems for
themselves and others,” Maharishi said. Maharishi then added, “The
architect who designed a capital building in a country may be renowned,
but if the orientation—vastu—is crooked, it will produce problems
for the government.”
Maharishi added that
government leaders have been unable to understand—much less adopt—his
simple message of how to create world peace because they are working in
an improper vastu, which clouds the thinking process. “Government
leaders may be well meaning, but nothing in government will succeed
until the vastu is corrected,” Maharishi said.
Education fails to provide the knowledge of proper orientation
Maharishi said that
education is responsible for all such problems because it fails to
provide the knowledge of proper orientation through Sthapatya Veda. The
solution, Maharishi said, is for governments to offer Vedic education in
their schools, colleges, and universities.
“Total Natural Law is
engrained within the Self—the Atma—of everyone,” Maharishi said.
“Vedic education—including the knowledge of Sthapatya Veda—cultures the
intellect, mind, senses, and speech so that every impulse of the
individual is supported by total Natural Law. We are offering to every
government prevention-oriented, problem-free administration through
Vedic education. This will give to every individual and every nation
command over total Natural Law—the light of God—for a mistake-free life
in invincibility, affluence, and peace.”
In response to a press
question about the influence of proper—or improper—vastu on an
individual, Maharishi said, “It is very real. It is as real as when the
sun rises and darkness disappears—or when the sun sets and everything is
dark.”

Training Administrators
of the Global Country of World Peace
and establishing Peace
Palaces and Vedic Universities
Maharishi also announced
that he is training Administrators of his Global Country of World Peace
to quietly bring coherence and harmony to the world through the
knowledge of total Natural Law. In addition, Maharishi said, his Global
Country of World Peace is establishing for these Administrators 3,000
Peace Palaces, built according to Sthapatya Veda in every major city
around the world. Each Peace Palace will be home to 100 to 200
peace-creating Yogic Flyers and to a Vedic University, which will offer
the knowledge of total Natural Law for the whole population to rise to
higher states of consciousness.
“Take it and enjoy, or
don’t take it and suffer—the choice is yours”
Maharishi concluded by
emphasizing that life is not meant for suffering. “Those who want to
suffer can do so—but those who don’t want to suffer can utilize our
programs to enjoy a better life,” Maharishi said. Then Maharishi added a
final message to government leaders: “With the knowledge of total
Natural Law, you can create a perfect government and a perfect human
race. For that, Sthapatya Veda is very necessary for every government in
every country. Take it and enjoy, or don’t take it and continue to
suffer. The choice is yours.” |

Peace
Governments will create
a happy, prosperous, unified world
Groups of Yogic
Flyers and Peace Palaces in
every country will raise national administration to
the perfection of the administration of the universe
“It doesn’t
matter how long darkness has existed
because we know how to light the lamp.”
(February 23, 2004)
His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi proclaimed that his Peace
Governments are on the right path to quickly achieving their goal of a
happy, prosperous, unified world. For this, Maharishi said, Peace
Governments are establishing groups of peace-creating Yogic Flyers in
every country and building Peace Palaces in every major city to raise
the whole population to enlightenment through the knowledge of total
Natural Law.
“It doesn’t matter how long
darkness has existed because we know how to light the lamp. That is why
we are confident that no one will ever have to live in darkness again,”
Maharishi said.
Maharishi’s proclamation
came during his most recent global news conference on Wednesday,
February 18, which was broadcast live via satellite and Internet webcast
from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland.
Administering society through total Natural Law
Maharishi said that
his Peace Governments will administer society with the support of the
silent, eternal administration of total Natural Law, which governs the
infinite diversity of the ever-expanding universe, from point to
infinity, in an evolutionary direction. “By engaging total Natural
Law—the Constitution of the Universe—it is possible for every nation in
our dear world to enjoy the same perfection in administration as the
administration of the universe.”
Groups of Yogic Flyers to improve national administration
Maharishi said that groups
of Yogic Flyers will improve national administration. “Governments are
deeply influenced by the quality of collective consciousness. To improve
national administration we just have to increase coherence in national
consciousness. That is why we are establishing in every country groups
of a few hundred to a few thousand Yogic Flyers who will enliven total
Natural Law and create coherent collective consciousness. This will make
every system of government— monarchy, dictatorship,
democracy—successful,” Maharishi said.
The number of Yogic Flyers
in a nation required to create coherent collective consciousness will
depend upon the size of the country’s population.

Vedic education to enliven total Natural Law in every student
Maharishi also announced
that his Peace Governments are establishing 3,000 Peace Palaces in the
world’s largest cities. The Peace Palaces will be centers for Vedic
universities, colleges, and schools, which will provide Vedic education
to enliven the infinite creative potential of total Natural Law in the
thought, speech, and behavior of every student for a mistake-free,
problem-free life.
In contrast, Maharishi
dismissed today’s education as “appalling” because it provides only a
tiny fragment of the knowledge of total Natural Law through the study of
physics, chemistry, physiology, etc.—and thus wastes the cosmic
potential of the student.
“It is easy and delightful
for any student to enliven total Natural Law within his own
self-referral consciousness. However, it is a rather strenuous and
difficult process—and not satisfying to anyone—to gain only partial
knowledge of Natural Law. It is like a billionaire who is only given a
small amount of money to spend in the market—he will never be
satisfied,” Maharishi said.
“Be kind to your children and educate them fully”
Maharishi called on
educators to provide Vedic education in their schools. “It is a great
joy to offer this knowledge to everyone irrespective of any differences
that may exist between us—language, culture, religion, or system of
administration—because such differences do not matter. We can present
this knowledge in the language of any science, any religion, or any
culture. So be kind to your children and educate them fully,” Maharishi
said.
A few people are enough to create a world of good citizenship
Maharishi concluded by
acknowledging that his offer may be difficult to understand for those
who have endured a lifetime of inadequacies in education, health care,
agriculture, defense, etc. “We are talking about perfection when
everything in the world is inadequate. So we accept that we may be
either misunderstood or understood by just a few fortunate people in the
world. But fortunately, those few people are enough for us to create a
world of good citizenship,” Maharishi said. “So we invite as many people
to come with us as quickly as possible, and we will create a bright
sunshine of enlightenment for every individual and a brilliant good
fortune for the world—now and for all generations to come.” |
