New TM-Sidhi Course in Lebanon September 2003

During the month of Septyember 2003, two groups of meditators have uccessfully completed a new TM-Sidhi course in Lebanon. Mr. Marco Steifel who is the TM-Sidhi Administrators came from Maharishi Vedic University to conduct the course.

The course was given for two groups, in Lebanon at both Adlieh and Raoucheh centers. The in-center section was given in Beirut while the flying section was given at a very beautiful mountain areas of  Lebanon at La Martine Valley in Hammana at the Pineland Resort.

Mr. Marco Steifel who conducted the course was full of wisdom and love in every step and every action he did. He soon created a warm relation between him and the course participants. On the Graduation celebration Mr. Marco expressed their distinguish and deep feeling of love toward the course participants, who by their turn expressed about their gratitude and appreciation to Masharishi and Guru Dev who gave this wonderful knowledge and to the teachers and they wished him a life full of success and happiness.

As it is becoming part of every TM-Sidhi course at the graduation celebration the course participants express their experiences in a talent show. This talent show included Lebanese traditional song, and Lebanese traditional dancing. It also included Sanskrit hymns accompanied with Lebanese soft music. The celebration also included comedic sketches, which made the audience laugh and laugh for a complete hour. 

At the Graduation Celebration, the course participants invited their parents, families and relatives. The celebration by it self, was a lively introduction on the TM activities and especially the TM-Sidhi course. During the celebration the administration of the Maharishi Health Education Center distributed a "Certificate of Completion" to every course participant and a "Center Award" to the TM-Sidhi Teacher.   

What is the TM-Sidhi Course?

The TM-Sidhi program trains the individual to operate from the least excited state of consciousness, to think from the level of the unified field of all the laws of nature. By learning to function from this self referral state of pure consciousness, the mind gains increasing support of nature for the fulfillment of desires. With the TM-Sidhi program, thought and action spontaneously become more in accord with the evolutionary power of Natural Law. This results in greater skill in action - the ability to fulfill one’s desires naturally while effortlessly promoting the evolution of everyone and everything.
One aspect of the TM-Sidhi program is called Yogic Flying. During the first stage of Yogic flying, the body lifts up and moves forward in short hops. Subjectively one experience exhilaration, lightness and bliss. Scientific studies show that during this practice, at the moment the body lifts up, coherence is maximum in brain wave activity. When Yogic flying is practiced in groups, this influence of coherence spreads throughout the environment, reducing negative tendencies and promoting positive and harmonious trends in the whole society. Advanced Techniques Tour

At the time when the TM-Sidhi course was running, groups from different centers of Lebanon were applying to take new advanced techniques. Around 100 course participants attended the advanced techniques course and they went deeper in their experiences of the Transcendental Meditation. Advanced Techniques enhance and enrich the benefits of one's daily practice of the Transcendental Meditation program. Through regular practice of the Transcendental Meditation technique, the mind becomes familiar with finer levels of the thinking process and with the source of thought -- Transcendental Consciousness -- the home of all the Laws of Nature. Through the Advanced Techniques of the Transcendental Meditation program, the totality of Natural Law is more quickly and profoundly integrated in the awareness. As the conscious mind becomes more and more infused with pure consciousness, a powerful influence of integration and bliss is created. Every phase of thought and action spontaneously becomes more supported by the evolutionary power of Natural Law, resulting in greater fulfillment of desires in daily life. Peace Governments are the only hope for the world

Establish coherence-creating groups in your country
to promote integrated national consciousness

“Do it today—or one by one, every nation
will be swallowed up by the dragon”

(September 30, 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi declared that Peace Governments, now being established in every country, are the only hope to save the world from violence and destruction. Maharishi said that Peace Governments will establish groups of coherence-creating experts in every country so that every nation is strong and invincible—and the family of nations is at peace.

“Your missiles will not bring you safety,” Maharishi said in a special message to world leaders. “The only way to survive is to create integrated national consciousness. And for that, the Peace Government is the answer. Establish groups of Yogic Flyers on the national, state, and city levels. Do it today—or one by one, every nation will be swallowed up the dragon.”

Maharishi’s pronouncement came on Wednesday, September 24, during his global news conference, which was broadcast live via satellite and Internet webcast from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland.

Creating integrated national consciousness

Maharishi described governments that use punishment and military force to maintain order in society as “barbaric and a bankruptcy of power.” In contrast, Maharishi said that Peace Governments are offering the knowledge and technologies of total Natural Law to create integrated national consciousness—the basis of successful, fulfilling, ideal administration for everyone in the nation.

Government of the Universe is the model of stable administration

Maharishi said that integrated national consciousness will also create stable administration so that current governments can remain in power and no longer hold disruptive elections. Maharishi identified the Government of the Universe as the model of stable administration. “The Government of the Universe—the Constitution of the Universe—promotes the progress and order of everything in the universe, from point to infinity. It is constant; it does not change. So why should the life of a nation have to be exposed to change? We have the knowledge of how to make use of the Constitution of the Universe in world affairs—and we are generously offering to share it with every government,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi invited government leaders to immediately take training in the Constitution of the Universe to become successful administrators. “Then governments won’t have to face poverty or problems,” Maharishi said. “Quietly, harmony will prevail and the trends and tendencies of the people will be soft, graceful, and pious.”

Education is the key to ideal administration

Maharishi said that proper education is the key to ideal administration. “Every government should offer the knowledge of the Constitution of the Universe in their schools, colleges, and universities. Then the coming generations will know how to utilize total Natural Law to enjoy a mistake-free life and create prevention-oriented, problem-free administration in their nations,” Maharishi said.

Maharishi’s message to America

In response to a question about current U.S. foreign policy, Maharishi cautioned America: “Power is in protecting life—not in crushing down life. You can destroy one country today, but you cannot save yourself from your wrongdoings tomorrow. ‘As you sow, so shall you reap.’ America has to return to peace—it has gone too far into the animal world.” Maharishi then added, “My intention is not to criticize; my intention is to quietly repair what is wrong. We bring the light and the darkness disappears. But when a man is drowsy, you have to shake him many times to bring him to his senses.”

“The press has the power to save the world”

Maharishi concluded with a call to the world press. “The press has the power to save the world,” he said. “Raise your voice that there is a solution. Governments only have to take this knowledge of total Natural Law—the light of God—and they will become invincible. Invite governments to come with us and we will create Heaven on Earth. And we will do it on the level of science through one Global Country of World Peace—one umbrella of administration—so that everyone in the world lives together in affluence and peace.”

Dismisses current governments as fraudulent
because they can be bought with money

(September 17, 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi offered every head of state a practical formula to create ideal administration and a stable government: Enliven Cosmic law to promote prevention-oriented, problem-free administration and eliminate the constant turnover in government leadership that destroys national life.

“The ideal system of stable administration is available in Cosmic law, which governs the infinite diversity of the universe with perfect order. If this huge variety can be administered smoothly without obstacles on a permanent basis, why can’t our world—with a population of only six billion people—be administered in the same orderly style? Here is my invitation to every head of state: Don’t change your government. Continue to rule through Cosmic law.”

Maharishi’s pronouncement came during his global news conference on Wednesday, September 10, which was broadcast live via satellite and Internet webcast from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland.

The urgent need for a new approach to administration

Maharishi cited the urgent need for an effective new approach to administration. “No system of administration—monarchy, democracy, dictatorship—is ideal because no system can prevent problems for the people,” said Maharishi, who had strong words for the global chaos generated by democracy. “Our slogan is ‘damn democracy’ because there is no democracy in the world today. It is a bloody, destructive dictatorship in the name of democracy.”

Maharishi also dismissed national sovereignty as fraudulent and inhuman. “Real sovereignty is royal and divine—it should not be a begging bowl,” Maharishi said. “Is it sovereignty when you can make a president to do what you want by giving him money? No, it’s slavery. But as I have said many times, ‘You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you will never fool all of the people all of the time.’ Fortunately, the world is rising above these treacheries.”

Real sovereignty is the invincible power of Cosmic law

Maharishi explained that real sovereignty is impenetrable from outside negative influences—“just as darkness does not enter a lighted room.” Maharishi cited the Meissner Effect of physics, which states that internally coherent systems repel external disruptive influences, while incoherent systems are easily penetrated by disorder from outside. “Real sovereignty is only available through Cosmic law—the will of God—which will not allow the birth of an enemy. Any nation will be sovereign when it is supported by the invincible, evolutionary power of Cosmic law.”

Peace Governments to create true sovereignty

Maharishi announced that Peace Governments and Universities of World Peace are now being established in every country to provide training in Vedic science—the complete knowledge of total Natural Law. “Vedic science opens human awareness to the Unified Field of Natural Law, total Natural Law. This is the transcendental field of all possibilities, where the underlying unity and infinite diversity of the universe are one. This field of invincibility cannot be comprehended by the mind or intellect; it must be experienced directly. These Peace Governments and Universities of World Peace will enliven this experience in the awareness of every single individual to create sovereignty in every nation.”

Everyone has a choice: Live in light or live in darkness

Maharishi said that his global efforts during the past 40 to 50 years have created a fertile field for the knowledge of total Natural Law to transform life on earth. “Now is the time for the tree to yield beautiful ripe fruits. We have the knowledge and we can do it,” Maharishi said. “So everyone has a choice: Either live in light or live in darkness. We are offering light. Come if you want to enjoy the light—or remain where you are if you want to enjoy the darkness. My advice is to choose the light.”

(September 23, 2003) His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi offered to every head of state the solution to all national problems—administration through total Natural Law—and a practical formula to create a stable government and raise the whole world family to a high level of dignity and peace, happiness and fulfillment.

Maharishi called on government leaders to:

1.       Adopt as their national constitution the Constitution of the Universe, which promotes the evolution of everyone and everything in the ever expanding universe

2.       Establish in their countries groups of coherence-creating experts to promote coherent national consciousness—the basis of prevention-oriented, problem-free administration

3.       Remain in power and stop holding elections, which have been a false hope and disruptive to the peaceful continuity of national life

Maharishi’s bold prescription for successful government came on Wednesday, September 17, during his global news conference which was broadcast live via satellite and Internet webcast from the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in Meru, Holland.

Manmade constitutions are the source of national problems

Maharishi identified “manmade” constitutions as the source of all national problems and urged people to reject any constitution that advocates violence and destruction. “Manmade constitutions were drafted by the founders of a nation and therefore contain the founders’ human weaknesses, flaws, and failings,” Maharishi said. “That is why manmade constitutions will never be able to lead people to the supreme goal of life—Unity Consciousness. For a crime-free, problem-free national life, every government should adopt the Constitution of the Universe—total Natural Law—which silently governs the almighty power of the sun, the moon, the stars, and the galaxies of the ever expanding universe with perfect order.”

Every nation should employ a group of coherence-creating experts

To bring the rule of Natural Law to every nation, Maharishi called on every head of state to employ groups of coherence-creating experts on the national, state, and city levels. And Maharishi announced his readiness to train enough experts—1000 to 5000—for every country. “Coherent national consciousness can easily be created through coherent individuals—individuals who have been properly educated to rise to higher states of consciousness,” Maharishi said. “Groups of such individuals will automatically bring the rule of Natural Law to the nation so that crime and all other bloody tendencies will simply disappear as darkness disappears with the onset of light.”

Coherent national consciousness will eliminate
the need to change governments

Maharishi said that coherent national consciousness is also the key to a stable government. “Governments have been changing for centuries because no system of administration has been able to satisfy the people—no system has been able to prevent or solve problems. Leaders are given three or four years to rule and then put out of power—even put in jail. The whole approach is absolutely childish. However, now it is possible for every nation to enjoy a stable government—and stop holding elections—simply by creating coherent national consciousness. Then administration will be prevention oriented and problem free—and the people will be positive and healthy, happy and wise.”

and God willing, we will have a better world”

Maharishi said that he has spent 40 to 50 years bringing higher states of consciousness to millions of individuals worldwide through his Transcendental Meditation technique. Now, Maharishi is establishing Peace Governments in every nation to administer this higher consciousness in society. “Peace Governments will quietly administer life in the evolutionary direction, so that no one makes mistakes and the whole nation enjoys ‘automation in administration,’” Maharishi said. “My advice to every head of state is this: Establish in your country a Peace Government and groups of coherence-creating experts—and bring the rule of Natural Law to your nation. Make hay while the sun shines so that, God willing, we will have a better world—a world of peace and affluence in the light of God.”
