The address of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam
on 31 December 2008:
The two aspects of Guru Dev

On 31 December 2008, Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Sovereign Ruler of the Global Country, gave his address to the celebration.

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam said that with the vision and thought of Guru Dev comes the feeling of wholeness and totality reverberating and lively in our thoughts and feelings, in a year where we have seen quite some extremes—the year that took from us on a physical level, the living embodiment of Guru Dev in this age for us, His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

'Yet the year showed us at the same time his immortality, his living reality, his presence—in his knowledge, in his administration, and his gifts to the world—from the extreme feeling of loss to the extreme feeling of never will anything be lost—that is what marks the infinity of Guru Dev, his infinite silence that Maharishi has presented to the world in his infinite silence and dynamism.'

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam said that Maharishi made everything so simple, so accessible, and has shown us how all opposites are part of one infinite reality of pure Being. 'In all his years of teaching, Maharishi paid homage again and again and again to Guru Dev, and Maharishi's duty as he has seen it was to fulfill Guru Dev's purpose for the world.'
 

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam said that Maharishi had two aspects in his awareness all the time: Guru Dev, the infinite silence, the recluse; and Guru Dev, the teacher, the one who brings people out of darkness into the light.

'These two aspects are like silence and dynamism,' said Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, 'for if you want to act to remove darkness by bringing the light, you are in a dynamic field yet remaining in silence. . . . We feel very greatly fulfilled that the silence of Guru Dev and the depth of his Himalayan retreat is present and upheld by our great Purushas, who are holding the fort, and are a great joy to Maharishi in their enlightened, daily returning back to the Self in the pure atmosphere of pure Being. . . .'

That is one aspect of Guru Dev, Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam said—Guru Dev, totality, embodied in Maharishi and given to the world.

'Another aspect of Guru Dev,' Maharaja Adhiraj Raam continued, 'is his teaching; Guru Dev did speak and teach silence and transcending. His teaching is present to us in the tapes of Maharishi and all the knowledge that we have gathered and written and studied.

'Therefore the speech of Guru Dev is available in detailed form in all these tapes, all these collections of knowledge and experience. And the essence of his speech, the true speech of Guru Dev, which is true, total, perfect knowledge, is also available to us in the Vedic sounds in the form of the Vedic Pandits of the Vedic Tradition, who we absolutely honour . . . for when they sit and speak, whether performing a Yagya or [performing] on any occasion . . . they are the speech of Guru Dev, because that is the finest level of speech.

'From silence, which is the most fine level, comes the reverberation of Natural Law, which creates the entire universe. That fine reverberation is the Constitution of the Universe, the Veda and Vedic Literature. Applied in specific ways, it addresses specific needs in the same way as the speech of Guru Dev, a great Master, would in one word, a few words, enlighten and bring relief to the people.'
 

The highest quality of leadership

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam said that the tradition of Raja in its purest form, as has been revived today in all the Rajas of Maharishi's Global Country of World Peace, is a link between the Absolute and the relative. A river has to be connected to its source, otherwise it stops flowing and ends up in ponds or other complications.

'. . . . In the world administration, in the world structures of action, there is that reality of leadership, responsibility of leadership: that leadership in its highest quality—the Raja leadership, the Rajas and Raj Rajeshwaris—is the quality that connects the Absolute to the relative,' he explained. 'That is why Maharishi's Rajas are established in silence and from that level, they perform action. Because that is always their reference . . . .

'Maharishi and Guru Dev alive in the hearts of all of us is just that mechanics which connects Absolute and relative and ensures that all novelty, all creation, all steps of progress are sustained and upheld by that Absolute.

'Therefore no matter what the individual Raja might think about his individual consciousness or level of evolution, they have that role—the role that whenever they are giving the knowledge, thinking of their countries and their people, organizing anything, they realize, they know that they are acting as a link between infinity and its expressed values; between the Unified Field and the expressions of the Unified Field; between Heaven and earth, between the . . . [Absolute] and the changing, ephemeral, daily relative world.

'That is always in the consciousness of the Raja,' Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam continued, 'and that is the administration that Maharishi has given . . . .' We see these highest values, he said, '. . . either in Purusha, or in the Vedic Pandits, or in the owners of the knowledge, the Gyanis, the Vaidyas [Maharishi Ayur Veda physicians], the Sthapatis [the experts in Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, Vedic architecture], and all these aspects of knowledge.'

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam said that in terms of administration Guru Dev is present in the Rajas and in the unity of the Rajas in their council, in their Maharaja as their unifying value, and in the Ministries of the Global Country of World Peace as the representatives of Maharaja—as the Maharaja, but in a divided form, because the Maharaja has more responsibility in silence.

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, said that in this year where we have seen extremes, even in the field of the changes in economics, and some threats and some situations which are called crises—'at the same time there is a great wave of enormous purification, a wave where that which is not right cannot continue to be; a wave in which something happens that might seem catastrophic yet we see through it and see that it is a prevention from a much bigger catastrophe; and where we see a reaction in the world that shows great awareness, great concern, great responsibility to respond and adjust, therefore even through those transitions that are experienced, there is a very great aspect of positivity that is seen . . . .'
 

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam said that on the brightest side of it we see again the [liveliness] of the teachings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi; the success of his knowledge being brought to everyone in society, the success of his programmes. 'It was really an extreme joy yesterday and today to listen to all Rajas and Ministers expressing the success in these different fields of their undertaking,' he said.

'. . . . In all the countries we have heard about we find that there has been very great success, and the knowledge is really zooming forth and going forward.

'We honour those leaders and it is a great joy to see how. . . . in the clarity of their thinking and the devotion that they have shown to Maharishi by continuing the purity of the teaching and the same level of desire, the same level of excitement about it, of interest, of incentive, with great force, is really very, very fulfilling to all of us.'

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam also expressed great gratitude to all those who are working in every field that he has not heard about, because in their field they are doing a small thing here or a big thing there, but it doesn't come to his attention. 'But when we know about it and are told about it, it's really tremendous—all those who work in the computers, in the planning, in different aspects of the knowledge and presentations, it's really tremendous what's happening.

'So it's a very fulfilling year in its gifts of assurance that Maharishi is immortal and Maharishi's knowledge is transforming the world in a great fulfilling way.'

Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam expressed his admiration, deep appreciation, and gratitude to the Prime Minister, the Rajas, Raj Rajeshwaris, Ministers and all the leaders of the Global Country of World Peace and said, 'It is really wonderful to see how our family is together, truly giving all that it can from every angle to create heavenly life on the earth,' he said.

'....Therefore we go into the silence with a sense of wholeness, a sense of Totality, a sense of Guru Dev present, alive, and in his totality, silence and dynamism created by Maharishi, and when Maharishi said his work was done, it means he has fulfilled to Guru Dev the requirement that Guru Dev wanted . . . .

'We go into silence with a great sense of fulfilment where the extremes of this year bring us from the sense of great loss to realize that there is no loss at all, because ultimately that loss has proved immortality to be a reality. We live in that reality and bask in this pure silence for these few days to come out and celebrate how we will make the whole world live, understand, and rise to that level of dignity which is the birthright of everyone, and bring the world to a heavenly existence. Maharishi Ayur Veda:
'In the right place at the right time
with the right solutions'
 

(27 December 2008) Maharishi Ayurveda Products International (MAPI) in the United States is undergoing great expansion, with the aim of bringing perfect health to the people of the US and the world through the knowledge of Maharishi Ayur-Veda.

A number of factors are contributing to this timely expansion, according to Dr Larry Chroman, Minister of Trade and Commerce of the Global Country of World Peace. Dr Chroman has been working closely with Dr Ted Wallace, Director of Maharishi Ayurveda Products International.

The expansion plans for MAPI in the US are part of a worldwide initiative, inspired by a recent global conference on Maharishi Ayur-Veda at the International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in MERU, Holland—to inspire the establishment and expansion of Maharishi Ayurvdea Products in every country and support invincibility of every nation and the creation of world peace.

At the conference, representatives of all the companies participating from around the world resolved to coordinate all their activities for a global presence of Maharishi Ayur-Veda. Since then, all the leaders of the Global Country of World Peace have also been contributing their leadership, expertise, and organizing power.

Dr Wallace mentioned that the head office of MAPI has moved to Fairfield, Iowa, to be in the coherent atmosphere of the Invincible America Assembly and the Maharishi Vedic Pandits in Maharishi Vedic City.

An article appeared in Time magazine at the beginning of December about the state of America's health care. This article said that US health care had been focussed on disease for many years rather than on prevention—'which is the goal of Maharishi Ayur-Veda,' Dr Wallace said. 'So we are in the right place at the right time with the right solutions.'
